Why is my coil not heating up?
Eventually your coil will begin to fluctuate in temperature and start to show EEEE or room temperature. This means that your coil has reached the end of its lifespan and needs to be replaced. Coils do die overtime and need to be replaced. This is true with all E-Nails and coils should be replaced at least once a year.
What nail or bangers can I use with the coil?
If you’re buying a kit without a nail/banger included, always ensure that the nail/banger you plan on using with your unit is not one intended for torch use only. Torch bangers aren't made with precise measurements as they're usually rounded up or down in size which is an issue when trying to use them with an E-Nail coil as they have to be same exact size to fit and E-Nail bangers usually have a mechanism on the banger to hold the coil(a stem or hook). So in short, it's always safer to get a nail/banger from the same company you purchase the E-Nail from as it's guaranteed to fit.
Are High Five E-Nails compatible with other E-Nail coils?
Most E-Nail brands wire their units and coils differently. So not all E-Nails and coils are wired the same. Always ensure that if you’re using a coil and E-Nail from two different brands that they’re compatible and the wiring is the same otherwise you run the risk of potentially damaging both items.
What does the warranty cover?
High Five offers a 2 year warranty on all E-Nail controllers and a 1 year warranty on coils. The warranty solely covers against failure of the electronics, craftsmanship and quality. The warranty does not cover any forms of accidental damage, theft, misuse or neglect including:
- Opening the E-Nail housing.
- Any forms of physical damage.
- Burning the coil sheath exposing the internal wiring.
- Using coils or power cords not from High Five (unless with a compatible universal adapter from High Five).
- Exposing the controller, coil or its any components to any liquids, gels, moisture.
- Using the coil at temperatures above +1000°F for a prolonged period of time, resulting in a noticeable burnt or black appearance.
- Modifying the coil head in any way, such as bending the rod or enlarging the coil head to fit a nail/banger, resulting in noticeable spacing between the coil wraps.
How long can I keep the E-Nail running?
Technically you can keep your unit running for as long as you choose. Coils do indeed have a lifespan, the longer the coil is heating the more that the lifespan is used. It is recommended to avoid using the coil at 900F for more than a few minutes and if you do not intend on using the unit within an hour to at least turn off the coil power to preserve the lifespan.

"Good starter kit. Everything works well. PID is nice. Only comment is those dumbass "coil stands." You want people to precariously dangle a 500+ degree metal tool over this little bookend type thing? There's nothing to secure the coil. It would be SO EASY to make a decent coil stand for zero extra money. Errlectric's is halfway decent cause it has a groove for the coil handle. High Five apparently went the other direction: on the new coil stand there is barely any groove for the coil. This isn't a tricky engineering challenge. It's almost like someone decided to make the worst most unsecure coil stand possible. Just stop wasting time/money/material on these bullshit coil stands, they are more harm than good. They are dangerous. If you want to make accessories, make a heat shield. Other than that I am super happy with my mini enail setup."

"I've tried a handful of e-nail units along the way, and nothing beats High Five. Most of the little portable units don't produce a fat enough hit and have limited options for glass, so I prefer units which use nails or bangers. I had pretty good luck with the Big E from Hyer, but it just didn't rip hard enough. I've been a daily medical dabber for almost half a decade, so I need a good hit! I've tried a few which plug into the wall, but they'll often burn the concentrates too hot or at an uneven temperature, and flavor and goo go to waste. I got this (at the time, the "micro" was the only option, so that's what we got) as a gift for my birthday a year or two ago from my ex. Not only is it my favorite thing I have from her, it's also my favorite smoking gizmo I've acquired in years. The way the coil is designed to wrap fully around as well as underneath the banger or nail is genius; most brands only do one or the other. The glass parts included are crisp, attractive, and reasonably sturdy. I will say, the bubble cap didn't last long, but they never really do when you're holding the bong and coughing. I use a silicon carb cap with the banger because I know I'm clumsy. I recently upgraded to the terp slurper set during their Black Friday sale, and I am not disappointed. The fact that they'll not only produce such an innovative nail, but also price it so reasonably is just incredible. If you're on the fence, do it. I'd give this 6 stars if I could!"
This is a game changer
"I usually wait a while before writing reviews but I’m kinda blown away. This thing is awesome. I definitely watched some old YouTube vids upon arrival but it’s super simple. I even managed to set the auto timer to 11 minutes (was a little tricky lol) but I go shower after a session and it’s off and at room temp. 2 minutes and it’s hot again. Cleaning has actually been simplified for me as it has an auto cleaning mode set to 900 degrees. Of course I give a good swab before cleaning mode but if you’re taking proper sized dabs for the temperature you’re using it’s should be vaporizing perfectly (big dabs are like 630 670 degrees) . 541 is my setting and like I said I swab and after I swab it’s clean enough for another session without cleaning mode. I just run cleaning mode after my full session. Iso soak every night fully disassembled ð so sorry long winded… I’m literally blown away ð®ð¨ð¶ð«ï¸ð« ð«¡ THANK YOU Honestly going to buy an auto spinner bucket next time because a functional dabber the airflow on autos are something to write home about, pearl or no pearl."
